RubberBond Roofing System installation

Adams Roofing are authorised installers of Rubberbond EPDM Roofing Systems single ply flat roofing membrane, this product is sometimes confused with the term Rubber roofing.  In fact EPDM is not rubber but is a synthetic product.  The Rubberbond EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is the only EPDM fleece-backed membrane on the market.

This unique product offers a overall thickness 2.54mm compared with other non fleece-backed product s that vary in thickness from 1.14mm to 1.52mm.  The Polyester reinforced fleece on the Rubberbond offers 40% greater puncture resistance & 180% greater tear resistance than non fleece-backed membranes.  Whilst improving the strength of the EPDM, the fleece also acts as a barrier to prevent any potential chemical reaction between any residues left on a stripped roof deck.
